Rhyolite, Beatty, Area 51, Sand Dune

Started the day with a 2 hr drive to Rhyolite Nevada to see the Sand Dunes (Indian Springs) and Ghost towns up through Beatty. Beatty is a super small town and I have no idea why you would live there, there is a gas station, a saloon and a subway there and lots of RV parks. And they seem to drink alot of Budweiser, b/c thats all you see advertised there I mean everywhere "Budweiser sold here!"
Before I hit Beatty, I stopped to see the "Big Dune" , only reachable by 4wd or an ATV, or the like, so I parked when I couldnt drive any further, and hiked to it..
Named "the big dune" pure white sand for miles makes you feel like you are in Egypt, definatley not Nevada, and well worth the hike!

Goddes of Life Temple , Indian Springs . I saw this off the side of the road and had to stop, quite interesting. Inside there was a few buddhas, a lot of insense sticks, candles and a place for a bonfire..the area around it too is covvered in ritualistic type ornaments

Inside the Temple..middle of nowhere.
Continued to Rhyolite Ghost town
School...

Exploring the old Mines, its a rock climb hike to get up here but well worth it

"Bottle House" in Rhyolite..this whole house is made out of bottles..
The Last Supper..
Just outside Beatty, Area 51 and the Largest Firework!
60 miles west you can see area 51, but you need to purchase a 5$ parking permit in order to gain access..

Alamo has a shooting range where you can shoot off fireworks and or firearms
